The annual Texas Motorcycle Show that is all set for April, will be backed by BMW Motorrad USA.  BMW decided to partner with the popular motorcycling event to encourage the design of custom motorcycles. The Motorcycle event is in its third year, and having BMW onboard as one of its title sponsors is a big boost.  The Texas Motorcycle Show show has a strong fan following from motorcycling enthusiasts everywhere, both locally and internationally. The Motorcyle show will also feature the live “Wall of death” show. Riders will perform stunts in vintage motorcycles, in a steep14- foot wall velodrome as a part of the show.

This year’s Texas Motorcycle Show show will feature over 150 bikes from around the world, and many vintage machines. Show attendees will also get to catch the Wall of Death riders in action as they perform thrilling stunts. The 2016 Handbuilt Motorcycle show will be hosted by Revival Cycles. Alongside vintage motorcycles, the show will also showcase sculptures, photography and paintings, amidst other original artwork.  The Circuit of the Americas located close by will have MotoGP racing; perfect for visitors looking to catch some trackside action.

The BMW Motorrad USA show is going to be held between the April 8^th and 10^th. This year’s show will be held in East Side. Fans can head over to a downtown warehouse to catch the show.  The on-foot admission for the event is free.  Or you can choose the $50 admission to support the Motorcycle show. This package gives visitors access to the preview party that is being held on Thursday. Food and beverages will be provided, alongside 2 drink tickets and a T-shirt. Visitors seeking this admission package will have expedited access to the flat track racing event from Friday to Sunday. There are also limited Ride-in Access tickets up on offer for the show whose prices are going at $20.

Sarah Schilke, the National Marketing Manager of BMW Motorrad USA, said that BMW appreciates legacy handcrafted models, even as the manufacturer continues to spin out new models driven by technology with every passing year. She commented that design and technology were both crucial elements that would shape up the motorcycle industry’s future.  She said that BMW Motorrad USA is sponsoring the event to show their support for builders rolling out custom motorbikes by constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity.

With BMW as one of the show-backers, we can certainly expect more foot traffic at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. The event organizers look to outpace their previous shows this year, another reason why the motorcycling community should not be missing out on it. The show saw the who’s who in the motorcycle craftsmanship industry last year, including Roland Sands, Max Hazan, Walt Siegl and Shinya Kimura. It will be interesting to see the lineup this year.
