B1050: Earith – Cambridge
A superb route for a long weekend ride. Full of twists and turns (and roundabouts), these roads are surrounded by lush greenery and fantastic views. With open stretches and challenging corners, you won’t be short of a thrill or two.

There are various great motorcycle clubs in Cambridge where you can take time out from the day-to-day routines and mingle with like-minded individuals.
Cambridge Matchless Motorcycle Club
In the traditional sense, the Cambridge Matchless Motorcycle Club consider themselves an MCC, however, they are an off-road sport motorcycling club. The club caters exclusively to those with a passion and hobby for off-road biking. They conduct club trials every year with some open to anyone and some specific for club members only. Membership is open to all levels of off-road bikers ranging from novice to expert, meaning whatever your level of interest, you can get involved!
The Cambridge Matchless Motorcycle Club is also affiliated with the South Midland Centre of the Auto Cycle Union, the country’s governing body as far as motorcycle sports are concerned.
Cambridge Advanced Motorcyclists
The Cambridge Advanced Motorcyclists are affiliated with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and they carry out classes to help members learn advanced motorcycling. The Royston & District MCC
As the name suggests, this is a Royston based MCC. It is also quite an old MCC considering that it was established in 1985. The prime aim of the club is to celebrate the whole motorcycling experience and cherish the heritage and history behind it.
The MCC conducts meet-ups on the first and third Wednesday of every month with major events happening in between- the biggest being the RDMCC show, which is usually held in June. They attend several motorcycle shows together, including the MCN shows, BMF shows and several other local events. As a member, you will also get free tickets to several shows. Ride-outs are a staple for this club with several happening throughout the week.
Cambridge University MCC
Cambridge, as a university town, has a strong reputation. There’s no doubt they are known for their academic rapport. Well, guess what? They have their own MCC which was established way back in the 1930s. The club is open to all alumni who love motorcycles and riding.
