The Harley-Davidson’s Road King comes with a new motor that Harley-Davidson has named as the ‘Milwaukee Eight’. Milwaukee is the hometown of the Harley’s, and the engine features V-twin’s 4 valves per cylinder, hence the name. There are two Milwaukee Eight engines, the Milwaukee-Eight 107 (1750cc) and the Milwaukee-Eight 114 (1870cc). Harley claims that they are the coolest, most powerful running motors that they have ever built. Their durability is more, and are stronger, and smoother. They make a very clean sound. The throttle response is very crisp. Featuring dual spark plugs and a single chain-driven cam, the engines are counter-balanced and rubber mounted.
